We are a 3rd generation family-owned cow/calf operation in Western Kansas that continues to meet the USDA premium grade. We hand deliver your meat straight to your door.
Our family-owned beef will not be available until mid to late August. However, we have a partnership with additional cattle suppliers who also provide high-quality premium beef that we can get year-round.
If you live in the Kansas City area, we will deliver to your door free of charge. If you want to order outside of the Kansas City area, please email us your address and we will go from there.
Our cattle are grass-fed and grain-finished. our cattle are spread over 10,000 acres to make sure they have enough resources to live a healthy life. The lot that the cattle are sent to at the end of life is a USDA-certified lot. The owner is on the USDA board. All livestock is inspected to ensure they are clean of harmful substances before processing the meat.
Our beef is dry aged for at least 14 days but can be aged up to 21 days if desired. This helps break down and dissolve the connective tissues and thus tenderize the meat.
All our animals are harvested humanely at a local USDA-approved butcher. Our butchers are wonderful people and professionals and we have built personal relationships with them.
The USDA grades our beef at the Prime or Choice level. This means that our beef has abundant marbling.
The cattle always have access to grass and pasture. The final 4 months before harvest their grass diet is supplemented with grains to help give the meat flavor and marbling.
